What is Vibro-Pulse®?

Vibro-Pulse® is a unique 3 dimensional spiral / cycloidal vibration action that is clinically proven to increase skin blood supply and microcirculation. The cycloidal vibration increases localised vasodilation of the blood and lymphatic vessels to increase circulation in the tissues.

As a result

Enhancing skin and tissue healing (leg ulceration)
Improving delivery of antibiotics to the skin to treat the area of infection (cellulitis / erysipelas)
Reduce swelling / oedema (venous hypertension, cellulitis / erysipelas)

Hydration of the epidermis and upper dermis

Use of Vibro-Pulse® has also demonstrated improved hydration of the epidermis and upper dermis, stimulating fluid drainage and a reduction in oedema / swelling.

U= upper dermis L=lower dermis. The = low echographic pixels show oedema / swelling, demonstrating significant reduction after 4 weeks of Vibro-Pulse Therapy.

Vibro-Pulse® Therapy

The therapy consists of two parts:

Vibro-Pulse® therapy pad.
Vibro-Pulse® single use disposable cover and limb straps. Replace after each treatment. 1 pack of 3 = 1 DAY of treatment

Important: The Vibro-Pulse® pad will only work by applying a single use cover with limb straps to ensure effective treatment and infection control. Replace after each 30 minute treatment.

ORDER DETAILS: Drug Tariff part IXA. CYCLOIDIAL VIBRATION ACCESSORIES: VIBRO-PULSE® pack of 3. Product No: 23066. PIP: 294-3678. 1 pack = 1 DAY of Treatment. To prevent inconsistent daily treatment we advise a minimum of 7 packs.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT REMOVE any bandaging when applying VIBRO-PULSE®. The therapy will penetrate the bandage.

PROTOCOL: Apply VIBRO-PULSE® for 30 minutes, 3 x a day. (allow 1 to 2 hours between treatments.) Duration of Treatment: 10 days then review, if no improvement is noted by day 10 cease the therapy.

SIMPLE TO USE: For healthcare professionals or carer’s in hospital or nursing home. Patients can self administer at home after instruction from their healthcare professional.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Vibro-Pulse therapy should not be used when one or more of the following clinical conditions are present. Active deep vein thrombosis, Active Pulmonary embolism, Acute thrombophlebitis, Severe active rheumatoid arthritis, Osteomylitis, Active cancer, Pregnancy, Uncontrolled epilepsy,

Active bleeding or difficult haemostasis in the wound bed. CAUTION: Infected wounds not receiving antibiotic therapy, Patients with unstable lower limb structures, e.g. bone fragments, Recent knee joint replacement.

Cleaning: Full instructions for cleaning the product are provided.

Product Standards: The Vibro-Pulse® leg ulcer pad is manufactured to ISO 9002 and EN46002 and complies with EMC directive (89/336/EEC) and the low voltage directive (73/23/EEC). The Vibro-Pulse leg ulcer pad is CE marked complying with the European Medical Devices Directive
